Mountain Spring Podiatry has an exciting opportunity to join our team! This is a hybrid full-time position for the right person who is looking to use their skills with a patient focused and growing medical group. This position will support our Podiatry service in Virginia Beach.

The ideal candidate will have at least two (2) years of experience working in an outpatient setting as a Medical Assistant and Front Desk Support.

We are looking for candidates who are skilled at welcoming patients and visitors to our clinic in a courteous and friendly manner, handling phone calls, scheduling patients, checking patients in and out, and keeping the focus on the patient experience throughout their visit. Additionally, this role will include rooming patients, taking vital signs, entering demographic and health history information into the EHR system, assisting the podiatrist as needed, obtaining prior authorizations, understanding insurances, taking payments, scanning in documents, and related administrative and office duties as assigned.

Along with previous medical office experience, a HS diploma is required. Experience with Athena EHR is highly desired. Be detail oriented and skilled at multitasking. Critical thinking, the ability to prioritize and work both independently and as part of a team are essential.

Pay is based on experience and our pay range is $19 to $23 per hour. Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm. A driver's license and mode of transportation are required.
