Guard Management Service Corp is seeking qualified candidates to fill Fire Life and Safety Director positions in Manhattan and Brooklyn.
GMSC secures a variety of high-profile locations throughout Manhattan and Chicago. We provide Fire Life and Safety protection to these sites with an integrated approach to security systems. Our security officers are responsible for managing these systems as well as engaging with site tenants, engineers and property management. They also have regular engagement with NYPD detail and provide support to joint operations around site perimeters.

Candidates must have:
• A valid NY State Security License with required 8 and 16 hour training.
• Able to work flexible hours, that may include evenings and weekends.
• Officer must have an active FLSD license or a non-expired Z89.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
• Site centralized security including but not limited to fire command station management, EAP plan management, access control, CCTV operation, and other duties.
• Positive engagements with site engineers, porters, property management, and security management team.
This is a 32BJ Union job. Rates and benefits are per 32BJ’s present contract.
