We're looking for Medical Assistants who are passionate about giving patients the extra attention and care they deserve. The ideal candidates will have a background in primary care, strong customer service skills and an intuitive understanding of how the body works. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, and MANDATORY Saturdays (8 am - 12 pm) with competitive pay and adequate time off. We're looking for people who love their work and enjoy working with children. We have 4 locations: Hodges, Nocatee, 210, and Philips HWY

Responsibilities:

  • Clerical duties such as scheduling appointments and other assigned clinical clerical duties.
  • Perform point of care testing (i.e. labs, finger sticks, swabs).
  • Be able to accurately record information in computerized medical databases.
  • Read and interpret patient charts and records to assist physicians with treatment plans.
  • Be able to handle emergency situations and notify a physician if it occurs.
  • Vaccine/injection knowedge and the ability to administer.
  • Take vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height.
  • Site maintenance including restocking/cleaning office and exam rooms.
  • Adherence to Occupational Safety and Health Administration guidelines (OSHA) medical quality controls, HIPAA policies and biohazard training.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 39 per week
