Position Overview:

As a groundskeeper, your contributions are essential in providing a clean, safe, and inviting atmosphere. Your responsibilities extend beyond simple upkeep tasks and into the realm of ensuring our residents’ satisfaction and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Thoroughly clean and maintain all designated areas within the facility, including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and the detailed cleaning of restrooms and ceiling vents.

• Conduct routine inspections and carry out preventative maintenance, documenting all activities for record-keeping and transparency.

• Undertake significant cleaning tasks and unique projects, contributing to community standards and enhancements.

• Communicate proactively with management about any deficiencies or necessary repairs, ensuring quick resolutions and minimal disruption.

• Distribute community notices with discretion and adherence to resident communication protocols.

• Strictly adhere to all health and safety regulations, demonstrating a commitment to resident and staff welfare.

• Ability to handle tasks requiring physical exertion, including carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds.

• Capability to remain standing and active, frequently maneuvering around the facility.

• Expertise in handling various maintenance equipment and tools, ensuring the facility’s pristine condition.

• Comfort and agility with frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling as part of routine maintenance activities.
