Aesthetic & Implant Dental Associates is Hiring a Full Time Dental Assistant Near Englewood, NJ

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include assisting the dentist during procedures, preparing treatment rooms, and ensuring patient comfort. If you have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for helping others, we would love to hear from you.

Duties:
- Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary equipment is ready
- Assist the dentist during procedures by passing instruments, suctioning, and providing support as needed
- Take digital x-rays as directed by the dentist.
- Utilize Itero scanner for restoration cases
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions
- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical documentation as necessary
- Follow proper infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Perform basic laboratory duties such as pouring models and fabricating temporary restorations

Skills:
- Proficiency in dental software systems such as Dentrix Ascend
- Knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with patients of all ages, including pediatrics
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality

Requirement:

New Jersey X-ray Certification

5 Years Experience
