Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include assisting the dentist during procedures, preparing treatment rooms, and ensuring patient comfort. Duties:
- Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary equipment is ready
- Assist the dentist during procedures by passing instruments, suctioning, and providing support as needed
- Take digital x-rays as directed by the dentist.
- Utilize Itero scanner for restoration cases
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions
- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical documentation as necessary
- Follow proper infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Perform basic laboratory duties such as pouring models and fabricating temporary restorations

Skills:
- Proficiency in dental software systems such as Dentrix Ascend
- Knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with patients of all ages, including pediatrics
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality

Requirement:

New Jersey X-ray Certification

5 Years Experience
