Summary:

Deep cleaning specialists assist the functionally impaired elderly who are homebound with chores that they are unable to perform. Chores may include deep cleaning of the home environment: dusting, mopping, cleaning, sweeping, the interior areas of the residence.

Qualifications/Requirements:

· Must have a valid Florida Driver's license and reliable transportation.

· Must be able to read, write, complete reports, and accept supervision.

· Must have access to a smart phone for communication and time management.

· Must be responsible for his or her own transportation to each client's assigned site during the workday.

· High school diploma/GED

· Ability to work well under minimal supervision.

· Strong attention to detail.

· Report client-related issues to the office immediately.

· 1 years janitorial/cleaning experience preferred.

· Experience with home-based care is helpful.

· Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds as necessary.

· Must successfully complete 30 hours of classroom and on-site training and demonstrate proficiency in required duties.

· Submit to ACHA/DOEA background checks and drug screening.

Essential Functions:

· Responsible for time management, work routines, equipment, customer service, keeping management up to date on workflow.

· Perform general cleanup of all areas of the residence as directed.

· Complete non-routine cleaning according to specified job orders.

· Removing garbage and recycling.

· Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests

· Assist with chore activities related to pest control.

· Ensure rooms have clear paths and are well-maintained.

· Cleaning specialties - Hoarding, heavy cleaning, windows, schedule weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly cleanings.

· Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Evaluation of Performance:

· Expected to complete the required weekly paperwork, on time and in a neat and legible manner.

· Ability to complete all required trainings, and successfully applies knowledge gained to work environments.

· Deep cleaning specialists will be measured by their personal appearance and how they conduct themselves in the client’s homes as well as in the community.

· Ability to demonstrate courtesy, respect and politeness in interacting with our clients and company staff members.

· Expected to consistently follow safe work practices at all times.

· Recognize and preserve the dignity and confidentiality of each client.

· Achieve tardiness and attendance standard established by the organization.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

· Business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

· The position will be available during designated business hours. Designated business hours mean being readily available on the premises or by telecommunication.

· Due to circumstances that may arise, overtime may be required at times.

· The person in this position frequently communicates with clients who have inquiries or questions. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

· Must be able to move, transport, position, put, and remove equipment weighing up to 50 pounds for various needs.

· Occasionally operates a computer or other office products such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.

· Frequently is in a client’s home setting.
