GREDELL Engineering Resources, Inc. , a civil /environmental /geotechnical engineering firm based in Jefferson City, Missouri, is seeking a full-time or part-time CAD Designer / Field Technician to work out of our Jefferson City office.

AutoCAD knowledge required; Civil 3D design knowledge desired. Associate or BS degree in Design and Drafting Technology or similar program preferred. WORD and EXCEL skills desired. The position involves a variety of office and field work. The CAD Designer / Field Technician is part of a team designing multiple simultaneous civil engineering and geologic projects.

Office assignments include utilizing AutoCAD software to prepare plans, drawings, and figures; cost estimating; quantity estimating; and, maintaining digital file system. Field assignments includes groundwater sampling, site reconnaissance / initial evaluations, construction observations, flow measurements, and data collection / site assessment duties. Typical projects involve heavy civil construction, site development, public works infrastructure, river/stream stabilization, geologic/geotechnical modeling, etc. Field assignments required in a variety of weather conditions. Must be able to walk on uneven terrain and lift/carry 50 pounds. Strong work ethic and attention to detail required. Occasional overnight travel of 2 to 4 days required (travel and expenses paid).
