Job Description

Job Description: The Task Manager oversees the coordination and completion of tasks within CBP EEMD. Selected candidate will be responsible for organizing, prioritizing, and monitoring tasks to ensure efficiency and quality. Effective communication, strategic planning, and resource allocation are key aspects of this role, as the Task Manager collaborates closely with team members and Program Management Team

Responsibilities:

  • Strategically organize and prioritize tasks based on deadlines, importance, and available resources.
  • Assign tasks to team members, considering their skills, availability, and workload, to optimize productivity.
  • Develop and maintain project timelines, ensuring tasks are completed within established deadlines.
  • Monitor task progress and outcomes to ensure adherence to quality standards and take corrective action as necessary.
  • Facilitate clear and effective communication among team members, supervisors, and stakeholders.
  • Identify and address any issues or obstacles that may arise during task execution, collaborating with stakeholders to find timely solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of tasks, timelines, and progress for reporting and analysis purposes.
  • Evaluate team performance and individual contributions, providing feedback and recognition.
  • Continuously assess and refine task management processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and adaptability.
  • Provide guidance, support, and inspiration to team members, fostering a positive work environment conducive to high performance and growth.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience in demonstrating strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a collaborative and solution-oriented approach.
  • Proficiency in SharePoint, Project and Task Management applications and software as well as MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to thrive in an environment managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate challenges and proactively address them

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in specific industry sectors relevant to the role.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies or other project management frameworks.
  • Previous experience leading or supervising teams.
  • Continuous learning mindset, actively seeking opportunities for professional development and growth.
