Ito is Hiring a Server Near New York, NY

We are looking for somebody who loves Omakase, Fine Dining, and loves to sell wine.
This candidate should have knowledge of wines, sakes, Japanese whiskey, and likes to engage with diners and directing their journey of which pairings best fit their needs.This position is a part-time service roll, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, dinner shifts only.
ITO Tribeca is a 16 seat sushi omakase restaurant headed by Masa Ito and Kevin Kim.Service consists of two seatings a night at 6 PM and 8:45 PM with most nights ending around 11:30. We are conveniently located only a block away from Oculus and within a short walk of most trains.Responsibilities:

Delivers exceptional hospitality in all guest interactions. Goes above and beyond to create an amazing guest experience
Running & bussing dishes
Refilling waters & drinks
Assist shift leads when needed
Support the dish team by organizing plates and glassware
Clean and reset counter throughout services
Maintain cleanliness standards throughout the restaurant

Requirements:

Ability to work both fast and accurately
Strong work ethic, coachable and willing to learn and improve
Time management, efficiency and station organization
Can execute on their own without consistent direct oversight
Have a warm and friendly nature and excellent interpersonal skills
Understand NYC health department codes and conduct
Have time management and communication skills
Availability to work nights and weekends
