We are seeking a dynamic and talented Karaoke Host to help launch an unforgettable Karaoke night on Thursdays. As the heart of our karaoke nights, you will not only entertain but inspire our guests to step up and sing! This role is perfect for someone who loves music, enjoys interacting with people, and knows how to create an unforgettable atmosphere.

Responsibilities:

• Host karaoke sessions, ensuring a lively and engaging experience for all participants.
• Manage the flow of the evening, encouraging guest participation while being mindful of the audience’s mood and preferences.
• Provide vocal support and encouragement to participants when needed, while allowing them the spotlight to shine.
• Maintain and operate karaoke equipment, ensuring everything is set up before the event and functioning smoothly throughout the night. The equipment must hook into our house sound via XLR cables.
• Curate and update a comprehensive, licensed karaoke catalog to cater to diverse musical tastes.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Karaoke Host or similar entertainment role.
• Exceptional vocal ability and a charismatic stage presence.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to interact positively with guests and encourage their participation.
• Own a professional karaoke system, including updated music catalog and quality sound equipment. Lights and effects options a plus as well.
• Ability to read the room and adjust the musical selections and performance style accordingly.
