Job Title: Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist

Introduction:

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our dynamic finance team in Cocoa, FL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of our accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy in invoicing, payments processing, and financial records maintenance. This role is pivotal in ensuring the financial health and integrity of our company.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the full cycle of accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, payment disbursement, and vendor communication.

-Comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges.

- Respond to external and internal inquiries regarding payment and billing issues.

- Process daily incoming mail.

- Post payments to customer accounts.

- Prepare monthly reports detailing accounts payable and receivable status.

- Work closely with the procurement and sales departments to resolve invoice discrepancies and disputes.

- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.

- Participate in the improvement of financial policies and procedures to improve workflow and efficiency.

- Ensure compliance with company policies, as well as local, state, and federal financial regulations.

Qualifications:

- Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounts payable and receivable role.

- Competency with NetSuite & Microsoft Excel.

- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance requirements.

- Excellent numerical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
