Job Description & Key Responsibilities

Seeking to fill a developer role in Balbecs Alpharetta, GA office within its Risk & Analytics group. This location serves as global headquarters for all pricing and analytics functions and is overseen by a founding partner and CIO. In addition to a strong quantitative skillset and an ability to maintain / process / analyze large data sets, the candidate must possess highly effective communication and interpersonal skills because this role requires communication with numerous groups within the company.

Responsibilities include:

Collecting, processing, and analyzing underlying portfolio data generated externally or by various internal divisions of the company
Enhancing Analytics/Risk reporting by automating manual processes and improving the accuracy of analyses
Verifying/Validating/Improving financial model assumptions by analyzing performance of existing portfolio
Assisting with automating and improving stress test

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelors degree in a relevant field of study. Degrees in Computer Science, Electric Engineering, Mathematics, or similar fields are preferred; 0-1 years of experience
Strong quantitative and analytical skills
Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills
High level of proficiency in Java/C#/Python
Diligent error-checking and debugging habits
Detail-oriented and organized with an ability to prioritize and simultaneously manage many projects and drive to completion
Strong teamwork, communication, and time management abilities as well as the ability to work independently
Comfortable working with and analyzing large and complex data sets and the ability to distill and communicate findings
