Job Description: 2nd & 3rd Shift Plater
Location: Indianapolis, IN, 46231
We are seeking a skilled 2nd & 3rd Shift Plater to join our team in Indianapolis, IN. The ideal candidate will have experience in plating and finishing metal parts, as well as a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare metal parts for plating by cleaning, polishing, and degreasing
- Apply plating solutions to metal parts using various techniques
- Monitor plating process to ensure quality and consistency
- Perform routine maintenance on plating equipment
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
- Complete paperwork and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of experience in plating and finishing metal parts
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
- Willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shift
