Fletcher Tilton PC is seeking a Transactional (Corporate and Real Estate) Associate with five (5) to seven (7) years of corporate, commercial real estate, and/or commercial finance experience to work in our Worcester office. Fletcher Tilton PC has provided quality legal services for nearly two centuries, which has given Fletcher Tilton an unmatched perspective in anticipating the needs of our clients.

Day-to-day:

As an attorney performing corporate, real estate, and finance work in the firm's Transactional practice, you will have the opportunity to work on interesting and challenging legal projects in direct collaboration with our senior attorneys. You will similarly have responsibility to manage smaller transactions and a critical role in drafting and negotiating major documentation and components of larger transactions. You will be exposed to substantive client contact, as well as significant involvement in case strategy and management and the opportunity to supervise and mentor junior associates. This is a unique opportunity for the right candidate to work with senior attorneys to broaden their skills and become an integral part of a high paced team in a highly successful practice.

Qualifications:

• JD from an accredited law school, licensed and in good standing before the Massachusetts bar
• Five to seven years of relevant experience with demonstrable leadership roles in key transactions
• Strong academic credentials with excellent analytical, drafting, interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to think strategically, problem solve creatively, and be a partner to clients to help them navigate legal risk to achieve business objectives
• Possesses strong integrity, and the ability to maintain confidences while working with sensitive, confidential information
• Ability to maintain a strong presence in client meetings and meetings with opposing counsel and parties, while representing the organization’s interests
• Self-motivated and highly productive with the ability to work independently with strong organizational skills as well as project and time management skills
• Strong team player with the ability to collaborate

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $130,000.00 per year
