JOB SUMMARY AND SCOPE
Provides leadership, supervision and support to assigned restaurants in accordance with established policies, procedures, standards, Company values and applicable federal, state and local laws. Initiates appropriate action(s) to maximize performance and deliver desired results. Serves as the primary liaison between individual restaurant needs and Support resources. Promotes strategic growth by recruiting, selecting, training, developing and retaining a qualified, motivated and productive workforce through implementation of sound human resources practices, policies, processes and programs.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Analyzes and evaluates current performance and future potential of assigned business units, both individually and collectively, utilizing available tools and resources. Identifies trends / issues that impede performance and initiates corrective action to resolve. Enforces utilization of approved operational and administrative business processes, tools and systems to maximize performance and deliver desired
  • In conjunction with each restaurant’s General Manager, develops and executes short- and long- term business plans and budgets that promote strategic sales and profit growth. Assesses local trade areas and regional market conditions and initiates timely action to leverage Wendy's brand and ensure competitiveness and growth of brand
  • Interfaces with all Support resources in furtherance of Company business objectives. Serves as the primary liaison between Support resources and individual restaurant needs and ensures appropriate resources are brought to bear against both individual restaurant and area-wide business needs and opportunities. Communicates the Company’s mission, vision and values to his/her Team and ensures management understands, accepts and successfully implements and executes all brand marketing, conceptual, procedural, administrative and/or product changes and
  • In conjunction with each restaurant’s General Manager, and in accordance with the Company’s values and philosophy, attracts, recruits, selects, trains, develops and retains the quality and quantity of Human Resources necessary to achieve desired business objectives. Utilizes manpower planning, interviewing and selection, staff assessments and succession planning processes in support of area, division and concept objectives. Employs coaching, motivational and behavioral management techniques to maximize employee morale, productivity and overall business
  • Enforces and complies with all federal, state and local laws governing the employer-employee relationship, including but not limited to those pertaining to employment, harassment /discrimination, wage and hour, breaks, disabilities, termination of employment, worker’s compensation, unemployment compensation, etc.
  • Ensures each assigned Wendy's Restaurant consistently meets or exceeds Company standards & expectations in the areas of sales, service, cleanliness, quality, Guest satisfaction, Associate satisfaction, facilities maintenance and financial
  • Administers all aspects of the business with impeccable integrity. Ensures all employees are aware of, understand, share and practice the Company’s values and operating philosophies through role modeling and ongoing
  • Conducts a variety of administrative duties that enhance their restaurant’s and the organization’s ability to plan, forecast, schedule, budget, analyze, manage and control business processes, systems and results. Possesses moderate to advanced computer skills (can prepare and organize reports and spreadsheets and manipulate data) and is proficient with various programs to including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Performs miscellaneous projects and duties as assigned

  • Ability to manage time efficiently, prioritize work and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Thorough understanding of general business principles. Ability to think strategically and capitalize on business
  • Ability to define (diagnose) problems, collect data, establish facts, analyze data, identify trends and draw valid conclusions. Ability to act decisively based upon a combination of sound judgment and analysis of qualitative and quantitative
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to all levels of the organization. Ability to speak and communicate in a variety of settings (one-on-one, small groups, meetings, large audiences).
  • Ability to effectively supervise, coach and develop staff members to their fullest potential. Ability to implement and reinforce high performance standards. Ability to objectively assess individual skills and development needs that improve
