General Clerk - Milan, IL

We are seeking a Temporary General Clerk to cover a maternity leave position in Milan, IL. **This temporary role has the potential to lead to a long-term opportunity. **The working hours are from 11 am to 7:30 pm; however, flexibility is required as shifts may change. Candidates must be available for any shift.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct audits on the floor for 90% of shifts and perform data entry and reporting tasks for the remaining 10%.
• Perform accurate data entry and prepare export documentation in a fast-paced environment.
• Pay close attention to detail and maintain accuracy while working collaboratively in a team environment.
• Troubleshoot potential issues, demonstrate problem-solving skills, and provide superior customer service.
• Maintain excellent attendance and exhibit a positive attitude.
• Conduct interviews via Teams platform.
• Follow a casual dress code.
• Metatarsal steel toe shoes are required on the first day of work.
• Note that visa sponsorship is not available for this position, now or in the future.
• Upon successful completion of training, there is potential for driving a John Deere-owned Cushman on the shop floor.
• Occasional travel between Deere sites for meetings may be required, utilizing personal vehicle.

Safety Requirements:

• Metatarsal steel toe shoes (Not provided).
• Safety glasses (Provided; if you wear glasses, a prescription less than 2 years old is required).
• Bump caps (Provided).
• Safety vest (Provided).
