Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Security Guard to join our team. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. Your role will involve monitoring surveillance equipment, patrolling designated areas, and responding to security incidents. Responsibilities: - Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to ensure the safety and security of the premises - Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to detect any suspicious activities or security breaches - Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify and address potential security risks - Enforce access control procedures by verifying identification and granting or denying entry as necessary - Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, including conducting investigations and writing detailed incident reports - Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors, answering inquiries, and providing directions when needed - Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to resolve security issues - Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property - Perform first aid or CPR if required until medical professionals arrive Requirements: - Proven experience as a Security Guard or in a similar role is preferred - Knowledge of surveillance techniques, procedures, and equipment - Familiarity with law enforcement procedures and protocols - Basic understanding of first aid and CPR techniques - Strong observation skills with the ability to quickly identify potential security threats - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with clients, employees, and visitors - Ability to handle conflicts or difficult situations calmly and professionally - Valid Security Guard certificate or license is required - Military or law enforcement background is a plus - Proficiency in operating CCTV systems is preferred At our company, we value the safety and well-being of our employees.
