Group Delta islooking for an exceptional Geotechnical Project Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have experience performing field investigations and preparing design-level reports.

Overview of Responsibilities:

· Perform and/or direct field geotechnical investigations.

· Perform and/or direct geotechnical construction observation and testing.

· Manage some geotechnical projects, including geotechnical analyses, client communication, and preparation of deliverables.

· Work with other project managers to deliver geotechnical projects, including geotechnical field investigations, analyses, deliverables, and construction observation and testing.

· Oversee the work of junior staff as needed to complete tasks and projects.

· Participate in industry events and business development activities.

Minimum Qualifications:

· MS in Civil or Geological Engineering, specializing in Geotechnical Engineering.

· California PE certification or qualifications to obtain it required, GE certification a plus.

· Pertinent experience and ability to perform the responsibilities for the position.

What to bring:

· Experience in geotechnical analyses methods including liquefaction analysis, slope stability analysis, ground improvement, wall design, pavement design, material and soils testing.

· Experience using software such as gINT, LPILE, SLIDE, SNAILZ, SLOPE/W, etc.

· Willingness to learn and a proactive approach to project pursuit, execution, and delivery.
