eNGINE is hiring an IT Administrator to support our customer in the education space. This is an onsite opportunity, meaning that this person must be local to the Pittsburgh area. This role involves a blend of technical support, system administration, and project assistance. The ideal candidate will be involved in a variety of IT initiatives, including a Chromebook rollout, network switch replacement, platform migration, and general server maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Address and escalate help desk calls, ensuring effective problem resolution.
- Administer systems and servers, including network and virtual environments.
- Prepare technical specifications, operating instructions, and other documentation.
- Troubleshoot and configure network, server, voice, and security systems.
- Maintain various technology platforms such as Microsoft, Cisco, and Extreme Networks.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, etc.
- Experience with firewalls, enterprise networking, and wireless administration.
- Familiarity with VMware & Google G Suite for Education.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and understanding of security best practices.
