CME Corp is Hiring a Payroll/HR Administrator Near Warwick, RI

The Human Resources team at CME Corp is seeking an energetic Payroll/HR Administrator.

This position will handle full cycle payroll functions by processing company wide weekly payroll, data entry changes in the ADP system, reporting, reconciliations, and audits. They will also provide administrative support to various HR functions. This role is based out of our Warwick, RI office and will report to and work closely with the Chief Human Resources Officer.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for full cycle payroll processing including preparing and processing company wide weekly payroll including reconciling data, balancing deductions, reporting, calculating exceptions, and transmitting final payroll.
  • Data entry and maintaining personnel files, set up garnishments, employment verification requests, unemployment and WC claims.
  • Benefits administration, entering new hires, terminations, life events, change of addresses, benefit billing reconciling
  • Answer employee inquiries in various Payroll, Benefit and HR related questions
  • Talent Acquisition - Review resumes, phone screens, set up interviews
  • Assist with onboarding new hires
  • Performs other miscellaneous tasks and projects assigned by the Chief Human Resources Officer

Requirements:

  • High school diploma with 5 years of payroll experience, Associate’s preferred.
  • 3 years of payroll process experience in ADP Workforce Now.
  • 2 years of human resources and benefits administration experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively with all levels of employees and management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient PC skills and experience using Microsoft suite products.
