Description
POSITION SUMMARY
- Responsible for leading technical support and process development engineering functions for company's highly chemical polishing technology, and providing essential technical support involving high-performance electro/electroless CMP equipment and related process technologies for semiconductor manufacturers in the U.S.
- Will lead and support new technology development of electro-mechanical and electroless CMP apparatus/equipment and related process technologies for the Intel account SED operations. Support customer in areas of tool acceptance, test , process improvement and to qualify tool for manufacturing. Coordinate the project support team engaged in these activities.
- Will act as a senior technical liaison between ETI and Ebara to coordinate product designs and development teams and Intel to ensure that processes and designs are compatible.
- Require travel to multiple sites for training and work.
- Works on problems of a highly complex scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of identifiable factors.
- Provides technical support to field engineers, technicians and product support who are diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and debugging complex electro/mechanical equipment, computer systems and/or complex software.
- Responds to situations where first-line product support has failed to isolate or fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software.
- Reports design, reliability and maintenance problems or bugs to design engineering/software engineering.
- May be involved in customer training for newly developed equipment and related applications.
- Provides support to customer/users where the product is highly technical or sophisticated in nature.
- Assists in personnel-related functions including, but not limited to, hiring, performance appraisals, approval of time cards, and time off schedules.
- Works on problems of a highly complex scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of identifiable factors
- Investigates alternate component technologies or supplies, reducing cost and improving quality and reliability.
Education
- Bachelor degree in Chemistry, Physics or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical experience in an engineered product industry.
- Minimum of eight (8) years' work related experience in the semiconductor process industry or related area.
- Five (5) or more year's supervisory experience.
- Good working knowledge and use of Ebara CMP equipment.
Other Requirements
- Working knowledge of MS Office products including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated leadership and program management.
- Strong relationship building skills with ability to collaborate and work effectively with internal colleagues and customer.
- Demonstrated training skills.
- Demonstrated teamwork and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Provide verification of good driving record if servicing customer offsite.
