The Analyst, Revenue Services is responsible for cash collections, the timely and accurate application of cash, tracking of new contracts and addendums, maintenance of customer records, dispute resolution, metric reporting and accounting management within the department.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP
Under the general supervision of the Director, Revenue Services, the Analyst, Revenue Services interacts with all departments, Area Managing Directors (AMD), Regional Directors (RD) and customers.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Monitor given Regions AR (local and Global) by making collection calls and/or emailing hotels.
B. Research and resolve customer disputes related to receivables accounts.
C. Work with AMDs and RDs to obtain support in collection efforts. Have regularly scheduled calls with the RDs to review outstanding balances in global time zones.
D. Perform reconciliations and analysis related to receivables accounts.
E. Prepare and monitor data sent to outside collection agencies/law firms.
F. Recommend and Process Service Level Restrictions in CRM
G. Produce specified reports on a weekly, monthly basis.
H. Track and report on payment plans, unapplied cash and specific revenue streams.
I. Handle miscellaneous billing inquiries received.
J. Participate in off-hour discussions in global time zones as needed.
K. Assist with other Revenue Services or Accounting tasks and projects as assigned.
L. Process Cash Receipts in a timely and accurate manner, including direct debits/credit cards, as needed.
M. Set up and maintain hotel customer information in the billing system, as needed.
N. Produce invoices/statements at customer request, as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
· College degree or equivalent
· Minimum of 1 – 3 years of experience in accounting (Cash, AR, Credit & Collections)
· Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and Outlook
· Knowledge or experience with Great Plains Software is a plus
· Ability to prioritize daily tasks and meet deadlines
· Strong organization and analytical skills
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· Strong attention to detail
· Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced and dynamic organization
· Mandarin speaking preferred
WORKING CONDITIONS
The working environment is a class-A professional office building. Office space is beautifully as well as functionally decorated including all required technology tools. The employee is seated most of the time. Current work conditions are hybrid (working part of the time on-site in the Newport Beach office and part of the time remotely) however, remote work will be considered if needed.

Salary range: USD $26.00 - 31.00; actual compensation within this range will be based on location, individual skills and experience.
