Forbis Logistics Corp. is an international freight forwarder looking for an experienced "Air and Ocean Export Coordinator" with availability to work from 10 am to 7 pm.

Mission:

Ensure efficient and effective management of logistical operations. This involves coordinating and overseeing all activities related to exporting and importing airfreight and maritime routes. The main objective is to ensure that products reach their final destination promptly, securely, and in optimal conditions while complying with established quality and cost standards.

Main responsibilities:

• Plan and determine the most efficient and secure route and shipping times through air carriers, including airline selection.
• Prepare documents such as truck and ocean BOL, SED, and declaration of dangerous goods.
• Prepare BL instructions in a timely manner
• Coordinate with suppliers to confirm cargo details and determine appropriate land transportation according to needs and requirements.
• Provide tracking updates for both land and air transportation to specified destinations as per client instructions.
• Secure space and availability on airlines for various shipments, making advance reservations to ensure compliance with space and rate requirements.
• Handle documentation and necessary procedures for international transportation, including customs declarations and international shipping requirements.
• Collaborate closely with third-party logistics providers, freight forwarders, customs agents, and transportation companies to meet company objectives while also addressing client inquiries and directing them to appropriate channels.
• Work with other departments to integrate logistics into company procedures and operations.
• Maintain updated rate drives for shipments or transportation.
• Perform maritime-related functions as required by the nature of the position.

Previous experience:

• We require experience in all the points mentioned within the responsibilities.
• Freight Forwarding Industry: More than 3 years
• In the department: More than 2 years
• In similar positions: More than 2 years
• Proven experience with access to employment references.
