Kent Precision Foods Group is Hiring a MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN Near Columbus, MS
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Adheres to a maintenance program which includes preventative maintenance.
- Assist in design of maintenance strategies, procedures and methods.
- Troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns.
- Reading, analyzing, and interpreting technical procedures, electricalschematics,blueprints, service manuals, and work orders to perform required maintenancework.
- Installing new production equipment.
- Servicing and maintaining equipment including motors, conveyor systems, transmission systems, and production-related equipment.
- Making relevant adjustments to machinery.
- Assist in the inventory of supplies, tools and equipment.
- Interface effectively with external suppliers and customers.
- Adheres to creating and maintaining impeccable plant standards and conditions.
- Adheres to all Safety practices set forth by OSHA.
- Adheres to HACCP Food Defense plan.
- Adheres to Good Manufacture Practice as set in Sqwincher GMP plan.
High school diploma, Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 5 years maintenance/mechanical experience.
- No travel required.
