We are looking for a Food Service Worker for a School in Wilmington DE. This is a Part time role; 25 hrs/week 5.5 hrs per day (includes 30 minutes unpaid break).

Hours will be from 7-12:30 or 7:30 am- 1 pm.

Meal Program General Worker Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous food handling experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to follow detailed food preparation instructions
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Excellent people skills
• Basic math skills
• Ability to follow food health and safety guidelines and training
• Cleared background check

Assists the Coordinator by performing the following:

• Tracks daily meal counts
• Processes weekly meal claims, updates and maintains nutrition forms, and required nutrition documents
• Maintaining a clean cooking environment and ensure all equipment works properly
• Assist inventories food supplies needed
• Supports Nutrition Coordinator with agency compliance of the Meal Program

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
