We are not a DDD Group home - We are a BEHAVIORAL HEALTH Group Home

Must be 21 and older.

We are a Department of Child Safety licensed and contracted group home. We have 4 houses spread throughout the state: 2 in east Mesa, 1 in Ahwatukee, and 1 in San Tan Valley. All residents have DCS involvement and are expected to be with us for a minimum of 6 months.

We deal with an array of behavioral issues from substance use, physical aggression, verbal aggression, AWOLing, etc. We are looking for staff skilled in behavioral intervention, de-escalation, medication administration, articulate documentation, etc. We are looking for people passionate about helping troubled youth. People who care about the population we serve and are willing to go above and beyond to make a difference in kids that do not see the issue with their behaviors.

All residents are enrolled in behavioral health services which can include case management, medication management, therapy (group/individual), behavior coaching, crisis stabilization, etc. We offer in house services to include crisis management, behavior coaching, trauma informed care, recreational therapy activities, etc. Our homes house up to 10 young female/male residents ages 9-17.

This position will require you to help these youth with various tasks throughout the day/evening, as well as assist in preparing and serving meals, house cleaning, and assuring that the home is kept within licensing compliance.

A successful candidate will be open and quick to learn as on-the-job training will be provided, be willing to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays and have at least a high school diploma or equivalent.

You must have the following :

- Pass Criminal Background (Agency will provide document)

- Valid Fingerprint Level 1 clearance card (DPS) STATUTE ARS 46-141

- First Aid/CPR (Referral can be provided)

- Arizona Driver’s License (MUST BE 21 )

- High School Diploma/GED or higher

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
