Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our team to help us promote our company through these events. As an Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and executing various events, ensuring they run smoothly from start to finish. This is a dynamic role that requires excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Duties:
- Coordinate all aspects of event planning, including entertainment and logistics
- Collaborate with clients to understand their event objectives and requirements
- Develop event timelines and budgets
- Source and negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers
- Manage event logistics, such as setup, breakdown, and transportation
- Oversee event registration
- Coordinate event marketing efforts to attract attendees
- Provide on-site support during events to ensure everything runs smoothly
- Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement
Skills:
- Previous experience in event planning or related field (e.g., restaurant, hotel, banquet)
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in events management software or tools
- Ability to negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of event marketing strategies and techniques
