Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Coordinates and schedules in-office and off-site procedures
  • Ensures all appropriate parties are contacted including the patient, provider and off-site facilities when applicable
  • Coordinates and schedules with outside providers, vendors, and facilities
  • Monitors and maintains provider schedules within the EMR system
  • Ensures all necessary documentation is prepared and sent to hospital before procedure date
  • Obtains prior authorization for all applicable procedures
  • Schedules and coordinates pre and post op appointments
  • Maintains and ensures patient accounts are accurate
 Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Ability to work collaboratively with leadership team, staff, and providers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Superior organizational skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a medical office or clinic setting
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, working on a computer, and heavy phone volume
  • Light to moderate lifting may be required.
  • Able to travel between clinics as needed.
