IRI is Hiring a Coordinator of Training, Investigations, and Special Projects Near Elmont, NY

IRI is seeking an experienced professional to assume the role of Coordinator of Training, Investigations, and Special Projects. In this role you will be responsible to provide training in first aid, CPR, SCIP, fire safety, fire evacuation, agency philosophy, characteristics of individuals served and a number of program areas as well as take responsibility for the management of the Learning Management System (LMS), and lead annual refresher training, as well as new staff orientation. The Coordinator of Training, Investigations, and Special Projects will conduct incidents of all types to include but not limited to allegations of abuse and neglect. The Coordinator of Training, Investigations, and Special Project be directed to engage in a number of projects as assigned by any of the seven executive staff members in areas as varied as internal evaluation, EHR roll out and maintenance, records management etc. The Coordinator of Training, Investigations, and Special Projects will work in collaboration with the Directors of Residential Services, Day Habilitation and Employment Services, and Clinical Services. This position will be stationed at our headquarters with required traveling to our sites across Queens, Long Island, Brooklyn and the Bronx.

About You

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in a human services field
  • You have passed the investigative course and is certified as first aid, CPR and SCIP instructor
  • You have a minimum of 10 year of experience in not for profit with at least five years in a managerial or clinical position
  • You have a car with a valid NYS driver's license in good standing
  • You have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • You are detail-oriented and technologically savvy
  • You are a strong team player and highly energetic

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 9AM to 5PM. Some mornings and evenings may be required as needed
