The Ordinary Pub is Hiring a Barback Near Savannah, GA
The Ordinary Pub is looking to add talent to their bar team and is accepting applications for the barback position.
The "OP" boasts a low-waste craft program, featuring house-made shrubs, Bloody Mary mixes, simple syrups, and hand-pressed fresh juices. The craft program is dedicated to fresh product and innovative processes.
Barbacks are an essential piece of the craft bar program, assisting the bartenders with multiple tasks and guest service. Barbacks are responsible for stocking various bar supplies, completing prep tasks, assisting to clean the bar and public areas, and setting up for and breaking down from service. Dedicated barbacks will also have the opportunity to work events.
A successful barback will be a team player who is able to move with purpose, take direction, remain calm while "on stage", and multitask. Barbacks must also be able to work on their feet; walk up and down stairs; bend, squat, twist, and lift up to 50lbs.
Benefits:
- $13/hour plus tip out
- Reasonable hours (we close at 9:30pm on weekdays and 11pm on weekends)
- Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas off
- Weekly paychecks
- Insurance: employees meeting eligibility requirements become eligible for the company insurance plan after 6 months of consistent employment.
