Ivy Hill Post Acute Nursing and Rehabilitation -

Ivy Hill is looking for a reliable and devoted Registered RN, to take on the role of Unit Manager at our quaint long-term care facility.

This is a Full-Time Salaried Position Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities Entail:

  • Monitor licensed and unlicensed nursing staff in delivering quality care to each resident
  • Ensure that nursing staff follows policy and procedures, including appropriate dress code
  • Attend and participate in morning clinical review meeting
  • Review 24- hour resident change in condition report daily and correspond with DON on changes in treatments as necessary
  • Review resident medical records and documentation to ensure clinical programs are in place per policy and procedures
  • Collaborate with the Educator on programs which meet the educational needs of staff
  • Ensure required documentation is completed for every shift in compliance with state and federal rules and regulations
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA rules and regulations on unit, reporting any known violations to the Administrator and DON
  • Assist the DON/ADON with preparing performance evaluations as directed. Greet new admissions and families and assist nursing staff with admission process as needed
  • Ensure that all admission documentation is complete in a timely manner
  • Monitor medication distributions and treatment schedules to ensure that medications are being administered as ordered and that treatments are provided as scheduled
  • Provide direct nursing care as necessary

Qualifications:

  • Pennsylvania RN license
  • Must be currently licensed by the Pennsylvania Board of Nursing
  • At least 1 year of Supervisory Experience
  • Experience in Long Term Care
