Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. As a Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the rehabilitation hospital we maintain. This is a vital role in ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for employees, visitors, and customers. The job is performed in the mornings starting between 7:30am-8:00am and is performed for four hours Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities:

- Perform custodial duties such as cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and dusting

- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste materials properly

- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors

- Maintain cleanliness of common areas, including break rooms and lobbies

- Ensure all areas are well-maintained and free from safety hazards

- Restock supplies in restrooms and other designated areas

- Maintain cleanliness of patient rooms and restrooms.

- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines

Experience:

- Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning preferred

- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
