General Summary of Duties: The Marketing Manager will support the marketing department and help to oversee the brand experience across all digital, social and traditional marketing channels. They will assist in driving the brand and hotel story through a variety of creative channels, including social media, special programming and events, local communications, PR-related initiatives and on-property collateral. They will help build and execute marketing plans and targeted campaigns to drive consumer awareness and brand preference, increasing market share, and building broader portfolio and brand awareness. This role focuses on highlighting food and beverage promotions, both to hotel guests and to local patrons, as well as spa, retail and hotel rooms promotions.
Hotel purveyor of brand standards. They will have a strong aesthetic opinion and understand how to eloquently communicate, both visually and verbally, “approachable luxury” while emphasizing property value propositions across all forms of communication to build awareness and customer loyalty. The Marketing Manager will have a desire to possess an in-depth understanding of the target customer demographic and seasonal business needs. They will develop, coordinate, execute, and maintain a heightened social media strategy that exemplifies the uniqueness of the property. Their execution of marketing initiatives, in partnership with corporate support, will speak to their target market and meet them on their preferred digital platforms to achieve company goals. They will have a keen understanding of the importance of digital marketing, marketing analytics tracking, and on-going optimizations when working through, and managing, support agencies, partners, and local systems. They will plan, coordinate, communicate, and execute hotel activations and special partnership events. The Marketing Manager will act as the Lake House agency liaison and on-property representative for marketing and public relations-related tactics.
