Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will work closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of medications to patients. Your role will involve various responsibilities, including medication preparation, inventory management, and patient care.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and dispense medications under the supervision of a pharmacist
- Perform medication inventory management tasks, including ordering, receiving, and restocking medications
- Assist in the compounding of sterile products using aseptic technique
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and medication therapy
- Utilize medical terminology and knowledge of drug interactions to identify potential issues or concerns
- Assist in the administration of medications, including IV infusions, as directed by a pharmacist
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Pharmacy Technician training program preferred
- Valid Pharmacy Technician certification/license (if required by state regulations)
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a hospital or clinical setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy practices
- Familiarity with IV infusion procedures and medication administration techniques
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation and dispensing
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing tasks
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
