Role: Business Development Manager

Location: 1775 Tysons Blvd, VA (Hybrid ON-SITE)

Duration: FTE.

Job Description: Duties and Responsibilities:
Developing and implementing a strategic plan to identify and pursue new business opportunities, expand market reach, and achieve revenue targets.
Conducting thorough market research to identify potential customers, competitors, and industry trends. Analyzing market conditions and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
Generating leads through various channels such as cold calling, networking, referrals, and attending industry events. Building and maintaining a robust sales pipeline.
Building and nurturing relationships with potential clients, strategic partners, and key stakeholders. Maintaining regular communication and engaging in negotiations to secure partnerships and contracts.
Creating persuasive proposals and presentations tailored to meet client needs. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop customized solutions and pricing strategies.
Collaborating with the sales team to close deals and achieve revenue targets. Negotiating terms and conditions, pricing, and contracts to secure profitable business opportunities.
Managing and growing relationships with existing clients to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business. Identifying opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling.
Monitoring and analyzing the activities of competitors, including their products, pricing, and market strategies. Developing strategies to differentiate the organization and gain a competitive edge.
Collaborating with internal teams, such as marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure alignment and support for business development initiatives. Providing feedback and insights to improve products or services.
Tracking business development activities, analyzing key metrics, and preparing regular reports for management. Making data-driven recommendations to optimize business development strategies and tactics.

Business Development Manager Requirements and Qualifications:
Goal-oriented, organized team player
Encouraging team and staff; able to mentor and lead.
Eager to expand the company with new sales, clients, and territories.
Able to analyze data and sales statistics and translate results into better solutions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
Self-motivated and self-directed
Experienced at compiling and following strict budgets.
Experienced at preparing and presenting quarterly goals and forecasts for future projects.
Comfortable in both a leadership and team-player role
Creative problem solver who thrives when presented with a challenge.
Bachelor 's degree in business, administration, or related field
Three to five years of previous experience in sales, management, customer service, finance, administration, or related field
Demonstrated and proven sales results
Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
Fluent communication in person, on the phone, and in email
Abide by all non-compete/solicit agreements.
