Apply advanced IP network analysis to complex production networks. Part of a team of Systems Engineers and Analyst responsible for supporting analysis of heterogeneous IP networks in a complex, carrier-grade communications system. Responsibilities include security and sustainability of communications with and through the network. Required Skills: 5 years experience in analyzing network topologies, analytic tools and databases; Bachelors Degree in EE, CS or related technical field; Apply expertise in telecommunications, next generation networks and convergence technologies; In-depth understanding of the OSI model and its correlation to TCP/IP protocols (emphasis on layers 2-4); Ability to conduct network analysis and analytic discovery; Ability to enumerate hosts and layer 3 devices on a given network; Certifications: CCIE/CCNP/CEH/CISSP/NET /Security Additional Qualifications; Scripting in Python; Understanding of VLAN switching, HSRP, VRRP, MPLS, L2TP, and GRE a plus; Ability to determine technical modeling solutions; Experience analyzing packet captures to obtain network performance information; Experience using tools such as Wire shark and OPNET; Excellent oral and written communication skills; Excellent interpersonal, team leadership, development, and client relationship skills.
