Math Tutor - Established Local Firm

Location: TPAPT Chapter. SFB - Peninsula. Menlo Park, Atherton, Mountain View, California

Level: some tutoring, mentoring, or teaching experience

Classification: Part-time

Compensation: $50 - $70 per year

The Association of Test Preparation, Admissions, and Private Tutoring (TPAPT) is seeking Math and Test Prep specialists for assignments in Menlo Park, Atherton, and Palo Alto. This position has regular demand, a flexible schedule, and an above average pay rate.

The Position:

• Provide in-person SAT Math tutoring to students in grades 3-6 or 9 -12

• Tutoring sessions take place in our learning center, online, or at a local school

• Tutoring sessions last 90 minutes

• 6-12 hours per week of assignments available

• Materials are provided but your supplemental material may also be used

Requirements:

• 2-12 hours per week of availability

• An earned Bachelor's from a competitive US 4 year degree granting college or university

• The ability to teach Math to students in grades 3-8 or grades 9012; or SAT, ACT, ISEE, SHSAT, SSAT math section expertise.

Compensation:

• $50 - $70/hr commensurate

• Mileage reimbursement available
