Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee maintenance operations, ensuring the facility's equipment and systems are in optimal working condition.

Duties:

• Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, or the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate.
• Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary.
• Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical or electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, or equipment.
• Inspect drives, motors, and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, or perform other maintenance actions, following checklists.
• Clean or lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, or other parts of machinery.
• Adjust functional parts of devices or control instruments, using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, or straightedges.
• Repair or replace defective equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment.
• Record type and cost of maintenance or repair work.
• Ensuring the compliance of all corportate policies and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration rules (OSHA) while conducting work functions.
• Must be able to work overtime as required, as well as call-ins.
• When required, flexibility is required to work various shifts to meet business needs.

Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous maintenance experience with a minimum of 2 years as a Maintenance II Technician
• Must have critical thinking skills using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
• Must have strong verbal and written and communication skills.
• Must have complex problem-solving experience identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
• Self-motivated and able to work well alone or with others.
• Must be a team player, cooperative, and have good attendance.

Pay: $23.68 - $25.23 per hour
