Job Title : Product Owner

Location : : Dallas or Austin, TX - onsite

Job description :

Using agile methodology values, principles, and practices to plan, manage, and deliver solutions Training, mentoring, and supporting scrum teams to follow agile values, principles, and practices. Determining and managing tasks, issues, risks, and action items. Scheduling and facilitating scrum events, meetings, and decision-making processes. Monitoring progress and performance and helping teams to make improvements. Planning and organizing demos and product/system testing. Ensuring the proper use of collaborative processes and removing impediments for the scrum team.

6 years of working as Business/Data Analyst with 3 years in the Health Industry

  • Strong Health care Payer knowledge, Product owner experience is a must.
  • Extremely strong Data Analytical skills along with an ability to work with numerous business and technology teams to gather requirements, document them and convert them to functional requirements.
  • Strong SQL skills with a background in writing complex queries.
  • Ability to work in an agile environment.
  • Experience working with all aspects of the SDLC workflow.
  • Should be able to participate in the testing phase and in writing test scripts.

Data Analysis/Reporting

  • Strong pattern recognition, correlation skills and a good understanding of trading terminologies
  • Strong experience working with the Microsoft Suite of tools

Data Procurement/Integration:

  • Experience with database application development (Stored Procedures, PL/SQL)
  • A good understanding of Data Warehouses, Marts and Cubes
  • Understanding the ETL process and usage of tools like Ab Initio, Informatica or Talend

Nice to have : SAFe Product Owner certification, Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO) Certification
