Our Client is looking for a Project Manager of Construction. You will oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation.
Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of construction projects from conception to completion.
Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring that timelines are met and milestones achieved.
Manage project budgets, including cost estimation, budget allocation, and cost control measures.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
Communicate project status updates, issues, and changes to stakeholders, both internal and external.
Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Manage procurement activities, including sourcing materials, negotiating contracts, and issuing purchase orders.
Lead and motivate project teams, providing guidance, support, and direction as needed.
Resolve conflicts and disputes that may arise during the course of the project.
Prepare and review project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
Oversee quality assurance and quality control processes to ensure workmanship meets or exceeds specifications.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to optimize project outcomes.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in construction management or other related fields
Familiarity with construction management software
Strong leadership qualities
Strong negotiation skills
Deadline and detail-oriented Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and foster positive relationships with stakeholders.
Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project or Primavera P6.
Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
