You will work with a team of world-class engineers with diverse backgrounds in robotics, control, and vehicle engineering to deliver the vehicle performance. In taking on ownership of the Technical Program Manager - Stability role within Vehicle Integration, you will be an integral link in the initiative to maximize the testing value of Zoox’s test vehicles. In this role, you will:Track issues and drive issue resolution on issues identified from VI testing activitiesGenerate stability scores for test vehicles and dashboards showing issue summaries and statusAnalyze results to identify which systems have opportunities for improvement Coordinate and represent issues in regular escalation meetings with senior management to promote issue resolution.Coordinate and support documenting issues for test vehicle assetsAlign on the stability test planQualificationsBS or MS degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experienceAt least 10 years of experience in engineering, and/or program managementAn ability to keep the big picture in focus and to provide clear, well-structured, and concise communications tailored to each appropriate audienceProficient in tools or processes required to manage complex projects (i.e. JIRA, Confluence, etc.)Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills are a must, ability to create visualizations of KPIs and program risksBonus QualificationsTrack record in managing complex cross-functional projects or facilitiesExperience with developing and scaling strategy, processes, plans, procedures, reporting, and handling escalationsCompensationThere are three major components to compensation for this position: salary, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. The salary range for this position is $150,000 to $215,000. A sign-on bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level. Leveling, as well as positioning within a level, is determined by a range of factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's relevant years of experience, domain knowledge, and interview performance.
