Job Title: Pickup & Delivery Driver

Sawyer’s Trucking Inc. is now hiring Full-Time delivery drivers as a Contracted Service Provider for FedEx Ground. We are seeking candidates to fill positions in BOTH of our Tampa and St. Petersburg terminals.

Current Salary:

No experience starts at $150/day

Experience starts at $160/day (must be verified by previous employer)

(May be eligible for salary increase based on a proven history of safety, attendance, route performance, maximum stop threshold, adherence to company policy and procedures, and other measurable factors.)

Overview:

• Full-time 5 days a week may include weekends (We Operate 7 days per week) with availability for 6 days after training.
• Must begin workday by 8:00am unless otherwise stated.
• Daily delivery hours vary by route and time of dispatch, not to exceed government regulated hours of service.
• Operate out of FedEx Ground terminals in St. Petersburg, FL or Tampa, FL
• Delivery vehicle provided by Sawyer’s Trucking and may include a step van, box truck, or cargo vans.

Requirements of delivery driver to be considered:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• A commercial license is NOT required.
• Driving experience preferred but NOT required!
• MUST HAVE CLEAN CRIMINAL RECORD
• MUST BE ABLE TO PASS DRUG SCREEN
• MUST HAVE A CLEAN MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) without excessive speeding tickets, reckless driving, etc.
• MUST be able to lift/maneuver up to 150 lbs with the use of a hand cart.
• Must meet the MINIMUM required stop threshold of at least 150 stops per day and/or 200 pkgs
