Tarzana Dental Care is Hiring a Treatment Coordinator Near Tarzana, CA
Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Treatment Coordinator. As a Treatment Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office and providing excellent patient service. This is a full-time position.
Duties:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments using our phone system
- Collect and update patient information, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining patient records
- Coordinate treatment plans with dentists and other healthcare professionals
- Educate patients on treatment options, financial arrangements, and insurance coverage
- Process insurance claims and verify patient eligibility
- Utilize eClinicalWorks or similar software to manage patient appointments and records
- Collaborate with the front desk team to ensure efficient office operations
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a dental office or medical receptionist role is preferred
- Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is a plus
- Proficient in using phone systems and other office equipment
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance billing processes
- Experience with electronic health record systems such as Epic or similar platforms is desirable
