We are looking for a receptionist at a very busy small animal vet clinic. We need a motivated person who can handle multiple responsibilities and remain friendly and calm. Must be outgoing and able to create relationships with people and their pets while answering a multi-line phone, scheduling appointments and dealing with cats walking over your keyboard. We need someone who is motivated to find work and do cleaning during down times. The person for this position must be organized and able to stay late if needed to get the job done, but strives to be efficient.
Job duties:
greeting and checking in clients
answering a multi-line phone
checking appointments out
computer transactions for selling food, medications, etc.,
preparing charts for the following day
reminder calls
