We are looking for SC x-ray certified dental assistants who are enthusiastic, reliable and will make our dentist’s office more efficient and pleasant for patients.

Training programs are available for those who are not licensed to take x-rays or need training on other entry-level dental assistant functions. Job placement assistance upon completion of training program. Financial assistance available.

Indigo’s Dental Assisting training program is designed by industry experts who have identified the most critical skills necessary to succeed as a dental assistant. Indigo combines online course work and in-person clinical sessions, providing you critical repetitions in a fun and flexible environment.

Dental Assistant Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment
• Take dental radiographs (x-rays)
• Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Provide patients with instructions for oral care following all dental treatment procedures
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health
• A friendly, positive demeanor with patients and team members
• Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new program
• Perform various office tasks as necessary
• Knowledge of dental procedures.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
