POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

The Lead Reconstruction Technician is assigned by the Operations Department on a day to day basis to work towards completing projects assigned and ran by the Project Manager. The Lead Reconstruction Technician will supervise any other Reconstruction Technicians assigned to the job and will have the responsibility and authority to direct along with coordinate all activities on the job so all goals for that day are achieved. It is the Lead Technician's responsibility to communicate directly with the Project Manager for proper scope of work needed for the project.

MAJOR DUTIES

• LVP Floor Installation
• Framing repairs and new construction
• Drywall hanging and finishing
• Trim Carpentry
• Kitchen and vanity installation
• Insulation hanging
• Roofing patching and storm damage securing
• Painting finishing
• Siding installation and repairs

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Know and follow all job safety requirements
• Understand, in detail, the scope of work to be performed
• Assure required materials are on hand prior to arriving at the job site
• Assure required tools are on hand prior to arriving at the job site
• Be the point of contact between the onsite crew and the Project Manager
• Assure client’s concerns are heard and communicated to the Project Manager
• Assure documentation is completed for the day
• Assure the job site is neat and orderly, especially before leaving at the end of the day
• Will delegate driving to another crew member so road time can be as productive as possible with completion of documentation
• In cooperation with the Project Manager, the Lead Carpenter will have the responsibility and authority for onsite work sequencing, and how to perform the work to accomplish the goals for the day
• Will assure the Project Manager and Scheduler is updated at the end of each work shift through our an email with our job management software
