We offer a hybrid/core work week, where employees are remote Mondays and Fridays, and required to be on-site Tuesday through Thursday.Primary ResponsibilitiesConsistently calculates, processes, distributes, files, and posts monthly/quarterly invoices for projects as assigned and when covering when team members are out.Research projects to ensure their accuracy and adherence to the contractual terms. Ensures billing matches the revenue calculated per the PSR and notes any timing differences or other variances and researches where appropriateIdentifies inconsistencies/problems with billings and works to resolve. Resolves complex billing issues involving multiple areas such as project setup, contractual requirements, cost share and unallowable expenseEnsure billing provides all supporting documentation for project billings including creating and submitting of sponsor customized invoicing support, SF425 data, and any other reporting requirements to ensure adherence to billing guidelines established within the Briefs. Reviews and prepares/maintains complex sponsor-requested spreadsheetsManage and review all contract change orders to ensure they are billed properly and to proactively address any potential anomaliesMaintains the Billing vs Revenue reconciliation until all the variances have been clearedResearchs inconsistencies/potential problems at the project level and works with team and/or Manager to resolve the issuesAssists General Accounting with Unbilled AnalysisAssists with Project close PCRMaintains royalty payment distribution worksheet and initiates paymentsProvides 606 Analysis at year endPerform other duties as assignedRequired Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principlesExperience with billing, reading Legal contracts and applying to invoicingDetail oriented with ability to achieve high level of accuracyMicrosoft Office proficiency Including knowledge of Excel Pivot Tables, FormulasExperience with Adobe ProAbility to work well with all levels of employees through both written and verbal interpersonal communication skillsExcellent problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlinesEducation and Experience At least 7 years experience in project accounting / billingBS degree in Accounting / Business or related fieldExperience with contracts and government invoicing a plusEEO Statement GTI Energy is committed to developing a barrier-free recruitment process and work environment.
