Miriam Cocina Latina is located in Dallas’ Art District situated across from downtown’s Klyde Warren Park. Offering shared plates, soups, salads, main courses and desserts from Mexico combined with clever cocktails and a full wine menu. The Host is a very important role for our company. They must display leadership in guest hospitality, exemplify excellent service and create a positive atmosphere for internal and external guests. Understanding an eye for detail and professionalism is as curated as our dishes hand selected by Miriam from her own country, Dominican Republic.

General Responsibilities

• Greet all guests warmly with an appropriate greeting
• Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor
• Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently
• Standing and walking for up to 12 hours
• Lifting, carrying and/or moving up to 50 lbs. on occasion, 10-15 lbs. regularly
• Bending, stooping and reaching frequently

Job Qualifications

• 1 plus years’ experience working in high-end restaurants
• Enjoy working in fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Has a sense of style
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent oral communication skills required
• Positive interpersonal skills required
• Must be fluent in English
• Open Table experience a plus
