This is a working supervisor position responsible for the operation of IT systems and networking and supervision as needed. Reports to the Executive Director of the Office of Information Technology. The position requires managing multiple concurrent projects with minimal direction and supervision from beginning to end, rather than separate elements or tasks of a project. Incumbent has the added responsibility of leading and guiding other staff in the performance of more specialized projects.

Qualifications

a) A bachelor’s degree with six (6) years in an information technology department with deep knowledge, skills and abilities in networking, servers, and user support; two (2) of those years in responsible supervisory and management position in an Information Technology Department; OR b)An associate’s degree with eight (8) years of experience as defined in (a); AND four (4) of those years in responsible supervisory and management position in an Information Technology Department; OR c)A high school diploma with ten (10) years of experience as defined in (a); AND six (6) of those years in responsible supervisory and management position in an Information Technology Department.
