Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Department: Maintenance

Reports to: Sr. Maintenance Technician

Basic Function: Performs routine maintenance, preventative maintenance and repair.

Departmental Responsibilities:

• Performs minor repair of all buildings and equipment.
• Use computer to monitor mechanical equipment maintenance procedures and maintain records of scheduled maintenance procedures.
• Performs preventive maintenance procedures on Punch Presses, Resistance Welders, Rivet Machines, Pneumatic Tools, and other assembly equipment
• Installs electrical wiring and equipment and repairs wiring as needed. Repairs electrical equipment and control circuits; replaces faulty electrical switches.
• Assembles, installs, or repairs plumbing.

Secondary Responsibilities:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch; lift or move more than 100 pounds.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and three years of experience in a maintenance manufacturing field; or an acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience. Two or more years of electrical experience. Valid driver’s license.
